McLaren P1 - Ultimate Hybrid Hypercar

This project was centered around creating a high-fidelity digital tribute to the McLaren P1, celebrating its engineering excellence. The goal was to build an immersive web experience that goes beyond static images, allowing users to feel the presence of the hypercar through interactive 3D elements and storytelling.

We implemented a WebGL-based 3D viewer that lets users rotate, zoom, and explore the car's exterior in detail. The experience highlights key aerodynamic features and the hybrid powertrain through interactive hotspots. Smooth scroll animations guide the user through the car's legacy, performance stats, and engineering breakthroughs.

The core of the experience is built with Three.js and React Three Fiber to handle the heavy 3D rendering directly in the browser. Next.js ensures fast initial loads, while Tailwind CSS allowed for rapid styling of the UI overlays. We optimized the 3D models and textures to ensure the site runs smoothly even on mobile devices.
