The Client
Strive is a sports team management app for clubs in Ireland and beyond, founded by Feargus Ahern. It connects coaches and players through shared data and accountability, and supports Gaelic football, hurling, soccer, rugby and Australian rules football. Teams subscribe for €14.99 a month after a 14-day free trial.
Team Management & Line-Ups
Coaches organise players, fixtures and training in one place, build match line-ups by dragging players onto the pitch, and see attendance at a glance. A team leaderboard compares every player's training, gym and match attendance.
Match Stats & Player Performance
Live stat tracking for matches, opposition analysis, player profiles with fitness test results, and injury and medical records, so coaches can make decisions from real data instead of memory.
Scheduling & Events
A shared team calendar with phone calendar sync, events for training, matches, gym and recovery sessions, and event pages showing who is attending. Players also log their own training sessions.
What We Built
We built the whole product: the cross-platform mobile app in Flutter, a Node.js and MongoDB backend with real-time team and management chat over Socket.IO, Stripe subscriptions, Firebase push notifications, parent-linked accounts for youth teams, and a Next.js admin dashboard.

Strive launched on Google Play in October 2026 and is available at striveteamapp.com.
